Are our thoughts on Good and Evil more wrong than we know? Who are Lucifer, Satan, Jesus, and Jehova/ Yahweh?
Let me start by saying that i WAS a christian. Unacceptable controversy over "The Holy Bible" pretty much forced me away from christianity. But now I want to know what everyone else thinks on this controversial topic.

Who is Satan:
Satan is "the adversary" or "opposition", originally seen as Ha-Satan. He was a loyal servant to Jehova, and his mission was to "test" the people of the earth. He did not force them to rebel against Jehova to attempt to claim their soul, he was simply meant to test their faith in him. In Job, we se Ha-Satan as "The Accuser", he accuses Job of only being loyal to Jehova because Jehova had so greatly blessed him. We all know the trials that Ha-Satan put him through AT GOD’S COMMAND! We even see that Ha-Satan is so trusted by Jehova, that he is given the Fire of God to destroy all the Job has. Ha-Satan is also the one who caused David to hold a Census, which Jehova was opposed to. But Jehova was not angry with Ha-Satan (as it was David who was tested by Ha-Satan).
Ha-Satan is seen as a devoted servant to Jehova in the Old Testament. And for those who claim that it was Satan in the Garden of Eden posessing a snake, think about this:
If it was Satan, then God had made us like all the other animals
It was Satan who gave us the ability to freely think.
Man was created to have dominion over all of creation (slaves within the garden).
And intercourse was not mentioned once while Adam and Eve were in the garden, "Satan" gave them the ability to reproduce.

All that is assuming that the Christian "Satan" was responsible for the snake’s actions. But then why would Jehova curse the snake (an animal who would have no way to fight demonic posession) to crawl on its belly and eat dust. (plus the snake has a flexible spine and many ribs, it was intended to slither :P) And in just a couple verses before that, didn’t it say that "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." (Genesis 1: 31) That would include his servants, the angels. (supposedly the angel (Ha-Satan was the talking snake in the garden).

Ok, so… somehow we get from a loyal servant of Jehova in the Old Testament to "The prince of the air" (Ephesians 2:2) and "Ruler of this world" (John 12:31). And the king of darkness and sin (I made that one up, but its the basic Christian belief :P). Well, I don’t know… the bible was written by Jews, and the Jewish people generally don’t believe that Ha-Satan is evil. There is absolutely no transition between the loyal servant, and the evil demon that is cast out of Heaven. I have no doubt that the idea of an "evil god" was adopted from Zoroastrianist teachings of Angro-Mainyu, the evil god. Satan truly is an evil god in the Christian teachings, and this is not the only time that they "borrowed" an idea from another religion or culture.

Who is Lucifer?:

"Lucifer is God’s most powerful angel who turned against him and was cast out of Heaven with 1/3 of the angels" — WRONG!
Lucifer was the Roman god for the Planet Venus. He (or sometimes she) was the Bringer of Light (as Venus is the brightest object in the sky just before dawn). Venus was later associated with Aphrodite, but the original concept of bright one who brings the day was Lucifer (also known as Phos-Phoros)
"But it says in the Bible, in Isaiah 14, that Lucifer is the Devil"— WRONG… AGAIN!
That verse in the bible refers to a babylonian king who persecuted the Israelites, and has nothing to do with a fallen angel. Many theologians agree that the Idea of Lucifer being the fallen angel was not only religious propaganda, but they also needed a fallen angel, to give the bible some drama… It works for most people. But honestly, Lucifer has become a dirty word for many people today, they associate it with eternal damnation and the adult boogeyman who will come get your soul if you are bad. Ok, enough about the innocent god who has no idea what in hades he did wrong. lol

Who is Jesus?:
When we think of:
A baby born on Dec. 25 to a Virgin.
3 wise men/kings followed a star to get to his birth.
At the Age of 12, he was teaching in the temple/ synagogue.
He performed Miracles throughout his life.
At the age of 30, he was baptised in a river.
He was crucified, died for the salvation of the world, and rose again 3 days later.
The resurrection is celebrated on Easter.
He had 12 Disciples.
He is called the light of the world, the bringer of light (lol really?), the way, the truth and the light, the son of God, the only begotten son, etc.
We think of Jesus, right? The truth is that Horus, the egyptian god of the Sun, also shares all of these Characterisitics, every single one (his mother’s name was Meri, step father’s name was Seb (which translates into Joseph) and he resurrected Osiris after Set killed him (Osiris is translated to LZR, and the romans specify Masculinity with US. so Horus resurrected LZRUS (Jesus resurrected Lazarus)). Infact, there are over 30 godmen who share very similar chara

Oh come on man.
